The whole family met up with my grandparents and my aunt and uncle to celebrate my Grampa's 80th birthday. We had a lovely time seeing them before they headed off to Florida to escape the winter. There's nothing quite like looking down a (very) long table and seeing all your family gathered together to celebrate something special. Nana and Grampa, you have a very beautiful legacy with many people that love you and we all hope we can someday be as blessed!
Yesterday, Mom and Dad watched Emma and William while Angie and I went out for a girls morning which was so nice! We had a lot of fun, shopping and being able to browse without having to worry about car seats, strollers, bored/hungry children, nap times, etc. It's been almost a year since I last saw Angie so it was a great opportunity to catch up and have some sister "quality time." Thank you Mom and Dad! Zenith met us back at my parents house where we had dinner and then watched Unbroken (which was very good, by the way!). Nothing like spending a chilly evening in with warm cuppas, good company, and relaxing with a movie.
Tomorrow, Mom has a "Teddy Bear Picnic" planned for all of the grandkids. We're going to all meet up at a nearby park where we'll have lots of fun picnicking with our children, who will each bring a teddy bear. I'll post more details (and hopefully pictures!) soon.
I have to end it here as William has just woken up and we're off to the shops for groceries! Here's a little clip from my sister of William and Emma's time together yesterday. :)
