...my bitty baby??
How did he go from this...
...to this?!
William is a beautiful boy. 4 years old and he is an incredible help to me around the house and with Dominic. He is sweet, happy, helpful, silly, and sometimes a little spacey. ;). He loves trains, tractors, trucks and learning how the engine works in a car. He watches his Daddy closely and tries his best to do anything to be like Daddy. He can't wait to grow big like Daddy, wear work boots someday like Daddy, and do anything that he does. He loves doing "school" with Mommy and he loves books. He listens attentively to stories and will sit for over an hour going through his picture books. He takes very good care of his baby brother, covering him with blankets or running to him when he starts crying and sitting down next to him to talk with him and keep him calm and happy. Dominic loves William and is usually very happy when he is around. But most of all, William is developing a beautiful and innocent love of Our Lord. It is something truly amazing to behold. He talks about Jesus and Our Lady and incorporates them into his little day. It's something special to be a witness to how naturally Our Lord draws little children toward Him. I pray God will always help me be a mother who inspires her children to look toward Heaven.
Upon William's request, we settled on a "train" themed party.
French toast for breakfast!
For his birthday, he received Mass vestments from my parents and a Mass kit from us which he was very excited about since he loves to play Mass
William couldn't stop thanking me for his birthday, and his gifts and his cake. I think he enjoyed it all. :) A couple days later, my birthday rolled in. My boys spoiled me with presents and lots of love...the "boys" got me a beautiful scarf, Zenith gave me a gorgeous handmade Polis pottery mug along with a box of my favorite chocolates from a local chocolate shop. And then he took us all out for dinner which was a treat! I am one very happy and blessed lady.
These two buddies had fun together
My new mug which is in constant use
William decided to let Dominic play Mass and helped him "vest up"
Speaking of the little guy...he calls so I must be off. My time is no longer my own these days. Happy Thursday!
