Introducing the newest addition to our family: Marcellus Francis! Born at home on October 31st, 6lbs 8ozs, 21 inches long. Both the little guy and I are doing well and everything went smoothly for the labor and delivery.
We were blessed to be able to have Marcellus baptized the next day, on the Feast of All Saints. What a relief and a blessing to have him in the state of grace now and a member of the Catholic Church.
As always this is such a beautiful moment; to be washed clean from original sin and starting over with a soul pure white in the state of grace. I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed and emotional with gratitude.
Godfather Uncle Pete and my sister stood in as proxy for Godmother Tess who wasn't able to be here.
Consecrating Marcellus to Our Lady
Proud Godfather :)
I added to William's baptismal gown with some ribbon and my wedding veil. From the sacrament of Matrimony comes the beautiful sacrament of Baptism. :)
Brothers
He's been doing really well with him!
Going to Marcellus' first doctor appointment, which went well. We love the new doctor who is so warm and respectful of our decisions regarding medical care of our children. Marcellus is a very healthy, strong baby, like his brother was!
My boys :) Zenith is a very proud Daddy
I'm feeling well and the recovery is going much better this time around. Marcellus currently has his nights and days mixed up, but we're working through that and I'm slowly catching up on sleep. I'll update soon with more, but for now we'll leave it at that.
Happy Friday!
~Lindsay
So grateful to get our first real picture of our darling grandson Marcellus. He is soooo beautiful. You've done so well Lindsay, especially getting this first edition of Marcellus out. Praying that you will continue to go well. Enjoy him while he's so little. It doesn't last long, as you might have noticed with William, the "big boy"!
