We stayed at the Nestlenook Inn and Farm up in Jackson NH, which was very cute and quaint and on 65 acres.
We had a great time biking around the place and exploring. They have horses since they do sleigh rides in the winter.
Little chapel we found by the river
Gazebo to come in and warm yourself during the winter for ice skaters
They used to have a farmhouse Bed and Breakfast which burned down a couple years ago. This is all that's left of that part of the farm.
They had this donkey and a miniature horse that roam the property freely. They were so cute and we tried to get better pictures but donkey decided he'd had enough socializing for the day and "high tailed" it out of there.
He had lots of fun playing around on the modes of transportation they offered for getting around the property
...a little too much fun :P
They even had row boats and swan boats for the guests to use.
All I needed was a parasol and the picture would have been complete :)

"Viva Cristo Rey!"
Town of Jackson
This was a neat store in Jackson that had an entire garden out back that zig zagged through the woods.
Saturday afternoon we drove to the White Mountains and hiked around Glen Ellis Falls. The weather was perfect and we couldn't have asked for a better temperature!
5 months pregnant and yes, we went all the way down here to get to the bottom of the waterfall and then all the way back up. *puffs up* ...Ok, ok, for normal people it would have been a breeze, but hey, I've been cooped up for a long time and this was a big deal!
On the way back, we stopped for dinner at this Irish restaurant where we enjoyed good drinks, good food, and this amazing view on their patio.
And then what better way to wrap up the evening then to relax in front of the fireplace. :)
Sunday since Mass was at 2pm, we stopped for breakfast at a cafe/deli that used all locally acquired produce, milk, cheese and meats and everything was organic and could be ordered gluten free. I was in heaven. I'm so limited by the things that I can eat that I usually just get the one or two items on the menu that I can have and don't usually have a choice in ordering. Well, much to Zenith's dismay, I have the whole menu to choose from (and anyone who knows me knows that decisions like this can take me all day). The food was fresh and tasty, and the atmosphere was so neat.
Anyone traveling through North Conway NH should check out the Local Grocer!
We had a great time away but I was very happy to see my little man again when we got home. He didn't seem very bothered by our leaving and even seemed a little dismayed to see me walk through the door. Daddy on the other hand was greeted with shrieks of joy and demands to be held. Seems he had a grand ol' time with Nana and Bumpa...thank you Mom and Dad!
Just one last thing. My mom set me up with a really cool website, Ebates, and if you haven't heard of it and are an online shopper like me (I just can't resist the convenience of shopping from home where I can find coupons, reviews, compare prices to find the lowest one, and most of the time free shipping), then you must check it out! Anytime you do online shopping (I don't know if this will work for our international friends and family), go to the website you wish to do you shopping on through the Ebates website (it has the big ones, but not all) and you get a percentage back on every purchase made. After you accumulate a good amount, then send you a check in the mail, and it's as easy as that. I only ever recommend these kinds of things if it's really a good deal that will truly save you money and this definitely does since you don't have to pay a thing for it. My mother uses it all the time and has made quite a bit from them.
Check them out through my referral link and right now you can get a $10 gift card after making your first purchase of $25 or more through Ebates:
Ok enough on that, it sounds too much like a sales pitch. :)
Happy Monday to all!
