Last weekend we had gorgeous weather and took advantage of it by spending as much time outside as possible. Friday evening, we took a nice little walk around the neighborhood and then drove to a local ice cream stand that's out in the country for a little treat. The boys were thrilled since they don't often get ice cream (not sure if they ever have!).
Saturday we took a drive to the coast and visited Castle Hill at Crane Beach in Ipswich. It's a big mansion built in the 20s with beautiful grounds you can walk.

We finished off the day with a stop for some roast beef sandwiches and then headed home for much needed baths and bedtime. It has been so nice to be able to get out and do things, between the better weather and me feeling better.
This weekend was a little more low key due to cooler temperatures and rain. Yesterday consisted of First Saturday Mass, and then running a few errands and today we might try to get out to the park after the boys wake from their naps.
